The Cameron Highlands are situated north of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, high
in the mountains (see map). Due to the high elevation, the temperature is
consistently cool and refreshing. As a result, many Malaysians and
foreign visitors visit the highlands to escape the hot tropical weather.
